Initial status: Machine in disrepair
Scope of project: PLC replacement & hydraulic upgrade
Activities: New wiring, sensors, PLC, HMI, replacement of all seals and O-rings, hydraulic upgrade with new pumps, Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) and proportional valves
Results: Producing quality parts, minus 30% energy, 95% OEE, all components “off the shelf”, near zero dependency from OEM
